Background's lines are too short. Also background have no 3D. I think you should to work with that one.

for me the background shows a connect to other more ones like this.

and for my part of comment i must say.
it's really interesting what u creat, and show a lot of inspiration. and it's mysterious too ! wow

what can i say you are just my favorite style artist with amazing drawings, that let me fly in other worlds or to learn better to use the power what is inside a good idea from my head.
